What are we to think when people don't reply to our emails? Too busy, not interested, don't care? Or is it just that the system isn't as reliable as we would hope.
But the fact remains that failmail seems to be that magic equilibrium point where people will trust technology more than they trust a human being, and it seems to take very little for them to do so.
