About Me

I help law firms be more distinctive. Before starting Thirteen I was marketing & BD director for different kinds of law firms. This helped me understand they ways in which firms are the same and the ways in which they are distinctive. I helped DAC Beachcroft grow from a £90m national firm to a £180m international firm, supporting the merger between Beachcroft and Davies Arnold Cooper. I then led the mergers between Blake Lapthorn and Morgan Cole and between Berrymans Lace Mawer and HBM Sayers. In each case I helped the firms understand how they are distinctive and how to communicate it, as well as establishing a new corporate and visual identity. I have spent my entire career in professional services marketing, also working for the global tax group at EY and the global corporate practice group at Hogan Lovells. I provide a diversity of insight and ideas and practical implementation experience that very few others can.
